Music Ministry News!

Wow- I have been asked by a small church near our city to lead Worship and Prayer on Sunday, March 8! I feel so honoured - this means a lot to me.
I will not just "make an appearance" as a choir leader, but will prepare the service together with their preacher.
Since the Holy Spirit nudged me to open up more and listen to what God wants me to do and to be, He seems to have a lot more tasks for me... People keep calling me and e-mailing me, and I am very curious what will come up next! So far, only pleasant surprises.
Hmmmm- one afterthought - I trust that He will also equip me and help me, or else we are in for a belly-flopper (just a joke, of course I know that I can trust in God and will have to trust in Him in these endeavours and that He would never forsake us or leave us).

First Steps

This is a Blog about my first steps in being led by the Holy Spirit. I am a christian and I live with my hubby and our pets in a very small hamlet in Germany. I am an avid reader and love to study The Holy Bible - and lately God brought some exciting changes into my life!
Well, I work as a music teacher and choir director, but now a friend asked me to be her Worship Leader at a christian seminar she does. And God prompted me to do a study on superstition - and to instruct and guide others how to avoid the pitfalls of superstitition (when I was at University, I engaged in lots of idiotic activities like Tarot, Horoscopes and the like - before I became a believer!).
So I emailed lots of people I know and offered to give a lecture on superstition .I did not expect to get many answers - but I was in for a surprise! So far, 10 people have answered my mail and told me they are looking forward to participating - and some have even asked if they can bring their teens! Wow, when you feel this gentle nudge of the Holy Spirit to go out on a limb - do it!
